OUR MISSION
UC Stars was formed to create athletic, empowered, and educated dancers in the Upper Cumberland area. Our studio provides elite experiences for each athlete with our personalized education plans and highly qualified staff. Our professional coaching and teaching staff have extensive experience in competitive dance. Our goal is to provide each dancer with a customized experience that caters to their talents and capabilities.
COMPETITION COMPANY
The UC Stars Competition Company is for dedicated dancers ages 6–18 who are ready to take their training to the next level. Company members receive pre-professional instruction and have the opportunity to attend regional conventions, intensives, and six local dance competitions from January through May. Dancers may audition for solos, duos, trios, and group routines. At UC Stars, we believe commitment levels should support each dancer’s goals, growth, and season availability. We offer three levels of weekly commitment. All competition company members receive high-quality training, performance opportunities, and the full team experience. UC Stars Competition Company builds not only strong dancers, but also confident, disciplined, and passionate artists.
RECREATIONAL DIVISION
UC Stars Dance’s Recreational Program is perfect for dancers ages 18 months-18 years who want to learn and have fun in a positive, encouraging environment! These weekly classes focus on building fundamental dance skills, rhythm, and coordination while helping dancers prepare for higher-level classes. Each dancer will have the opportunity to perform in our winter and end-of-season recital. With low commitment and high energy, this program is a great way for young dancers to shine, grow, and fall in love with dance!
PREPARING DANCERS TO
DANCE IN COLLEGE
UC Stars is proud to be the only dance studio in the Upper Cumberland offering dancers exclusive access to combines, recruitment clinics, and networking events with college programs and professionals. Our staff personally guides each selected dancer through a customized Dance Team or Dance Education track, helping them prepare for their goals beyond high school. Dancers gain valuable connections, scholarship opportunities, and real-world experience through university and company partnerships. If your dream is to dance in college or on a collegiate team, UC Stars provides the training, guidance, and connections to make it happen.
