UC Stars Dominates at Showbiz Competition Weekend

This past weekend at Showbiz, UC Stars Dance Studio showed up with confidence, and the results spoke for themselves. From Platinum adjudications to ICON awards and an overall win for the entire weekend, our dancers proved that hard work, artistry, and teamwork pay off.

⭐ Title Wins & Standout Honors

“Sticky,” a hip hop solo performed by Eloise Burgin and choreographed by Kirsten Brown, earned a Platinum adjudication, 3rd place overall, and most notably, a Title win. 

Our soloists earned ICON awards for the highest-scoring routines in their divisions:

• “Piece of the Pie” (Jenna Carnahan, Jazz Solo) – Platinum, 1st in category, ICON

  
  

• “2:00 AM” (Elle Lisic, Lyrical Solo) – Platinum, 1st in category, ICON

  
  

• “Wildflower” (Mya Maddux, Contemporary Solo) – Platinum, 1st in category, ICON

• "Blue Ocean Floor" (Kaleesta Lowery, Open Solo)- Costume Award

Our groups delivered strong performances across jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, and open categories, earning multiple top placements and special awards.
