STUDIO DRESS CODE
When dancers wear proper dress code, it helps the instructor and the dancer better understand how their bodies move and what muscle groups are involved in each movement. This body awareness allows dancers to become more educated and have better technique. Teachers and staff members reserve the right to ask dancers to change, but must provide them with an appropriate change of clothes.
✓ NO FACE PIERCINGS/NECKLACES, Including nose, tongue, eyebrow, or belly button rings. Wearing these could result in serious injury to the athlete, another athlete, or coach. This is a USASF Guideline. The only jewelry that is permitted are stud earrings.
✓ NO PERMANENT JEWELRY. NO exceptions
✓ Hair must be off shoulders, secured in a pony tail, bun, or braid. Please be advised that if the braid goes past your shoulders you may be asked to put it up due to acro, tumbling, lifts, and floor work.
✓ Dancers who do not arrive in dress code will be asked to change or provided a change of clothes.
✓ Dancers who wear spandex must have the spandex cover their entire bottom. Bra tops must cover all cleavage.
